Quite a while ago I was on the hunt for bronzers. I always thought that bronzers weren’t really for me since I am very pale. Here’s one I picked up on my special mission…

The packaging is something you’ll either love or hate. Soap & Glory packaging always reminds me of The Balm’s. The Solar Powder’s packaging is actually made of something like cardboard material. It feels very strong but it doesn’t look like it could survive in your handbag for long. The mirror inside isn’t actual glass, it’s one of those plastic mirrors which aren’t really handy to use if you’re doing your makeup. Like I said, you either love it or hate it. I personally love it, even though the mirror is a bit of a disappointment.

The actual powder is very pretty. When you first buy it, it has this shimmery overspray which’ll be gone after the first use. Luckily, since I prefer my bronzers to be matte. This bronzer has two colors; a darker one for those who are a bit more tanned and a lighter one for pale girls like me. The lightest side is way more powdery than the darker side, because of that your brush will pick up a lot of product so be careful (you don’t want to look like an Oompaloompa, do you?)

I’d say this is a fairly good bronzer. I definitely can’t compete with The Body Shop’s Honey Bronzer but it still does the job! What’s your favorite bronzer?
