SHOP MY STASH: FALL EDITION
Fall is my favorite season; I feel nature’s at its best, we can finally layer out clothes without freezing our t*ts off and we all run off to LUSH to check out their Christmas collection. Winter is coming closer and I thought I would quickly share my fall favorites with you today, before the snow is falling down and we’re all singing along to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas.
I have mentioned this a hundred times before but I’ll say it again, my favorite color is purple. In fall it’s more acceptable to wear purple toned eyeshadows and lip colors. My eyeshadow base of choice has been the Maybelline Color Tattoo ‘Metallic Pomegranate’. Go easy on this because it’s very pigmented, if you apply too much of this product, you could look ill or tired. My favorite palette has been the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, especially because of the beautiful burgundy shade, which is unique in my collection. I like to apply this all over the lid and blend the edges with a bronze or golden eyeshadow. I usually go for a black eyeliner (boring, I know) but some days I felt a little bit extra fancy and I would use something like the Urban Decay Glide -On 24/7 Eye Pencil ‘Rockstar’ . If you’re feeling daring and you want something a bit more intense, then the P2 Perfect Look Kajal ‘120 Plum’ is the one for you. It’s super creamy, it blends very well and it even comes with a pencil sharpener does its job perfectly.
All makeup addicts go crazy in fall because it’s the perfect time to wear deep reds and/or burgundy colored lipsticks again. I am wearing MAC Lipstick ‘Rebel’ today. Another blogger favorite is Rimmel Kate Moss ‘107’. This is a classic and I think everyone should have this. If you don’t like the feel of lipstick on your lips then the Revlon Lip Butter ‘Macaroon’ could be an option for you as it feels more like a lip balm but it does give off a lot of color. If you’re lipgloss kind of girl then the Tanya Burr Cosmetics ‘Berry Picking’ is a perfect shade for fall.
I don’t really follow trends when it comes to nailpolish. If I feel like wearing a pastel pink shade in fall, I will wear a pastel pink shade in fall. However, Revlon ‘Autumn Spice’ and Essie ‘Skirting The Issue’ have been major favorites this month, they scream fall.
