About a month or so ago, my friend and I found ourselves in Selfridges, London. It was SO warm, all we wanted to do was lie in Hyde Park with our snacks and ice cream. We couldn’t leave London without buying some beautiful new makeup, so we got our lazy a$$es out of the park and went straight to the NARS counter.

I fell in love with NARS when I found out that they did a foundation shade actually light enough for my skintone. I have since then expanded my -still very modest- NARS collection. If I buy something from a high end brand, it has to be totally amazing and/or inovative or else I’ll skip. I immediately fell for this eyeshadow duo ‘St-Paul-De-Vence’ because of the orange shade on the left, which would go amazingly with my blue eyes. The shade on the right is a matte, warm-toned brown color, perfect to apply on the outer parts of the lid to deepen the look up a little. These two colors go perfectly together, all there’s left to do is apply eyeliner and mascara and you’re good to go.

They blend really well and last all day (using an eye primer is recommended). The only thing you have to keep in mind that -especially the brown color- has quite a bit of fall out. I usually do my eyes first before putting on foundation.

I am so happy I purchased this palette. It has my name written all over it. It may not be cheap, but these colors really speak to me and I’m a hundred percent certain I’ll get a lot of use out of it. Also, it is a great memory from our trip to London.
