When I first started watching beauty videos on Youtube, all I could dream of was a MAC product. I remember AllThatGlitters sharing her makeup collection and her showing sooo so so many MAC eyeshadows and lipsticks. I think I was about 15 back then, I did wear some concealer, eyeliner and mascara but little did I know I would own MAC makeup a few years from then. Today I’m sharing my MAC lipstick collection with you.

I don’t know what it is about MAC, but everyone seems to love it. It’s expensive, but not as expensive as Chanel. Also, their staff is always super helpful and there are so many colors and finishes to choose from; they will surely have something that appeals to you. I have a love/hate relationship with lipsticks. I own 7 MAC lipsticks which I’ll try to describe to you.

On Hold (Cremesheen): I would describe this color as a browny red. I go for this quite often because it’s not an in your face kind of red. It’s also super comfortable to wear since it’s a Cremesheen finish which means that it’s creamy and a little bit shiny. However, if you pat it in, it will go a bit more matte and leave a stain of color on your lips. If you’re a fan of a red lip but don’t always want to go for a ‘bright’ red then this one will be perfect for you.

Fanfare (Cremesheen): You can tell this lipstick is very well loved. I always go for this color if I’m not sure which one to go for. It’s a cremesheen again so very comfortable. It surprises me that I never hear anyone talking about this color because believe me, I read and watch a lot of blogs and Youtube videos.

Creme In Your Coffee (Cremesheen): A cremesheen finish, once again. CIYC is the latest addition to my small MAC family. It’s a fairly brown color. Not something I would usually go for but hey, we have to take risks sometimes right? I like it a lot but it does take some getting used to. I never wear this ‘full on’, I will take some on my finger and dab it into my lips to make it look a little bit less harsh. You’ll be very on trend with this lipstick though.

Crosswires (Cremesheen): Another Cremesheen, it’s getting old now. Crosswires is a pinky coral color which I love to wear in spring and summer. I feel it really compliments my blue eyes.

Rebel (Satin): Rebel is a classic in the world of beauty bloggers and vloggers. It looks quite scary in the bullet but it’s not as intense on the lips. It’s a pinky/purple color which is gorgeous in fall and winter. It’s a Satin which means that it’s in between a matte lipstick and a Cremesheen.

Angel (Frost): A Frost finish usually means that it’s somewhat of a metallic color. However, Angel is not metallic at all. I would say Angel is more of a Satin. Angel only looks cute on me if I dab it into my lips, otherwise I’ll look like a Barbie and that’s not the look I’m going for. I believe this is or used to be a Kim Kardashian favorite. Not that it matters, just thought I’d say it ha!

Twig (Satin): Twig is probably current favorite lipstick. It’s more wearable than Creme In Your Coffee because it’s got a pinky tone to it, rather than just being brown.

What’s your favorite MAC lipstick?
