FLY AWAY ON THE WINGS OF MY EYELINER
Applying eyeliner is tricky; you’ve got to have a steady hand ánd try to make the wings on both eyes look somewhat even. I still remember buying my first ever liquid eyeliner, I guess I was about 13. Now, years later, I’ve tried kohls, gelliners, felt-tip eyeliners and more liquid liners; been there done that. I think I finally mastered the act of applying eyeliner. My favorites are all drugstore liners!
As you can see I’ve got quite hooded eyes. That’s why I only put the thinnest line on my lashline and don’t go for the ‘cat flick’, otherwise when I open my eyes it would look silly. In the pictures I used the Max Factor Colour X-Pert Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Deep Black to create a tiny wing. It’s a liquid formula but with a felt tip pen. I find that normal felt tip eyeliners like the Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen 01 Midnight Black and the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner Black dry out way quicker. But they’re both very good and cheap so I don’t mind repurchasing.
If you’re a bit double-minded about using eyeliner then starting off with a black kohl or black eyeshadow is something you could try. Just line your lashline and smudge it out with a brush.
Are you an eyeliner kind of girl?
