I’m sure you can all remember the ‘Beauty Scenario Tag’ being the hype on Youtube. I’ve always wanted to do it on my blog but I thought seeing it in a video format would be more fun, and here we are.. I’ve decided to not answer all the questions because I can image you don’t want to read an entire essay. Here’s some beauty dilemma’s for you:

  1. You’re not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?
Usually when I’m not feeling myself I don’t put any makeup on because it’ll just look ‘meh’. I’d rather hide myself behind my curly hair. I try to accept the fact that today is not my day and just try again tomorrow. But if I had to pick one I’d go with MAC ‘Twig’ or ‘Fanfare’.
  2. Your house has been robbed, don’t worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What’s the product you really hope is safe?
This one is easy, definitely my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. That stuff makes me a hundred times more confident, especially in combination with their Radiant Creamy Concealer. There’s also some good drugstore alternatives from Essence and Catrice.
  3. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
I think not much has changed in terms of lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara. I’ve always been into bronze/orange eyeshadows and lots of mascara. The thing that’s changed the most is without a doubt my eyebrows. I don’t even want to talk about it, it was that bad.

I looked up some photos of me as a 16 year old and I have to say that, besides from the eyebrows, it wasn’t that horrible. Beauty blogs just started to rise from the ground and not a lot of (good) makeup was available yet. The drugstore has improved massively since then. I do remember being child and buying green and pink eyeshadows from my pocket money but I never dared to go out like that, I didn’t even want to show my parents. But secretly I thought I looked fab. Boy, was I wrong.
