img_5967My new hair styling tool has changed my hair game for the better. It’s literally made my life so much easier (and I’m not exaggerating). img_6006
My hairdresser always uses the Babyliss Pro Blue Lightning Air Styler on me and every time I walk out of the salon feeling like I’m Hollywood’s biggest star. If you’ve read my blog before you’ll know that I’ve got naturally curly hair. I go through phases of me loving it, and then hating it. I’m currently in the second phase. Straightening my hair just doesn’t look natural to me. If it’s as straight as a ruler, it just kind of ‘hangs there’, and there’s not much life to it. Also, I bicycle a lot to work, to the gym and to the station and believe me with Holland’s climate, your hair will stay straight for about 5 minutes. I haven’t touched my straightener since I purchased this Babyliss tool.
img_6007Its design is very simplistic; there’s really not much to it. It’s got 2 (warm) settings, the brush doesn’t rotate. It can get very warm so please be careful when using this, don’t keep it too close to your skin. I always use the highest setting because that’s just much quicker. img_5967This is how I use it: I blowdry my hair as straight as possible using a brush. You can see this on the left. This is as straight as I could get it. It’s very frizzy and just doesn’t look good. I stop blowdrying when it’s towel dry. I then grab my Babyliss Pro and start taking small parts of my hair and you can immediately see a difference. Near the ends I will rotate the brush so that a subtle wave will appear. On the right in the picture I’ve used the Babyliss tool. What a difference it makes, right!?

If you’re looking for a cheap and easy tool to straighten your hair with then this Babyliss one is a very good option for you.
